SAP Migration
The decision to implement SAP is likely to be one of the biggest IT investments your company will ever make. It is essential to employ experienced professionals for this type of mission critical exercise. Comp Three has completed numerous SAP migrations including projects for several Fortune 500 firms. We are experienced with all aspects of SAP migrations including: configuration and installation, custom programming, data migration, Business Warehouse design, and bolt-on systems.
- Configuration and Installation. Comp Three has installed, upgraded, and done performance tuning for all mySAP components, including Pricing and Master data, Asset accounting, Purchasing and PR Workflow. We are experienced in SD, FI, MM, PR, APO, CRM, MSM (Master data management), and XI SAP modules.
- Custom Programming: We have extensive experience with ABAP programming, BAPIs, RFC modules, BDCs, ALE and EDI.
- Migrations: We designed and developed automated ETL processes to interface legacy contracts, order fulfillment, shipping, and accounts receivable applications for SAP implementations. For Hewlett Packard’s SAP implementation, we built a real-time interface between Hewlett Packard’s R3 SD module and a third party shipping, inventory and logistics system.
- Business Warehouse: Comp Three designed a metrics package solution to enable Hewlett Packard’s consumer E-business organization to analyze and improve order fulfillment processes. The project required migrating reporting functions from R/3 and non-SAP data warehouse platform to SAP’s BW platform. We also designed the new InfoSources and InfoCubes, defined and created transfer and update rules, and performed the system test and initial data load.
- Bolt-On Systems: Comp Three developed and integrated a cash workflow application for a major defense contractork, with SAP. The Cash Workflow System consolidates and summarizes cross-functional SAP R/3 and BW data, providing business intelligence and workflow management to identify and improve cash flow issues.
